The Bucket List

Have you always wanted to learn to dance the tango, do a magic trick, or skydive? If so, perhaps you need a bucket list – a list of all the things you want to do before you die – that’s the topic of our programme.

Today we have practiced our comprehension skills with a podcast from BBC Learning English about the 'Bucket List'.

HOMEWORK: I want you to produce a writing about your own bucket list, telling us which three things you would like to do before 'kicking the bucket' (dying.

Don't forget to send it to me so I can correct it and we can share it later in our class next Tuesday.

Phrasal Verbs

Here you are a list compiling some of the most useful/usual phrasal verbs.

Remember that an excellent way to show your proficiency in English is using native like expressions and vocabulary, and there phrasal verbs may came in handy. Bear in mind that some may result a bit informal, though.

Virtual Guided Tour to an Almazara

Como parte de nuestro proyecto y también como actividad evaluable en el apartado de "mediación", de la EOI de Villacarrillo, con la que nos coordinamos con el nivel de C1 Inglés, os presentamos esta actividad.

Se trata de una visita guiada virtual de mano de nuestro alumnado de C1, Olaya, Eugenia y Elías.

Gracias a sus explicaciones podremos profundizar en la cultura del aceite, todo ello en inglés.

Discover Saqvra - An Actionbound

Como parte de nuestro proyecto de innovación de "Vivir y Sentir el Patrimonio", titulado "Sierra de Segura, todo un Patrimonio por Descubrir", os dejamos el enlace de acceso a una actividad que se ha diseñado y desarrollado dentro del plan educativo de Uso Básico de Idiomas.

Se trata de una caza del tesoro, diseñada empleando la aplicación Actionbound. Es totalmente interactiva y lo único necesario para poder disfrutarla es un smartphone que equipe GPS y cámara.

Es una excelente manera de conocer nuestro patrimonio, en este caso la villa de Segura de la Sierra, su historia, sus rincones, sus monumentos, disfrutando por sus calles y deleitándonos con sus vistas.
