Time for some speaking practice too:

And more ...

The writing activity above would be also good practice (you can do it as homework)

You can also do this MEDIATION activity:

A friend of yours is looking for a house to buy in an area West of Cambridge.

You have found some housing adverts in a newspaper.

Her initial budget is of 250.000 GBP, but maybe she could obtain some more funds to buy the house if she really likes it.

For her, it would be ideal to have plenty of space and she doesn't like living in a flat.

She doesn't want to do any works in the property she buys.

TASK:

Send her a short e-mail or message telling that you have found a house that would suit her needs, explaining the details of it and why you think it is ideal for her (no more than 80 words).

And to finish, as usual, a song:

LP "Lost On You"

The Bucket List

Have you always wanted to learn to dance the tango, do a magic trick, or skydive? If so, perhaps you need a bucket list – a list of all the things you want to do before you die – that’s the topic of our programme.

The Bucket List

Today we have practiced our comprehension skills with a podcast from BBC Learning English about the 'Bucket List'.

You can find the podcast (audio) here:

And the transcript here:

HOMEWORK: I want you to produce a writing about your own bucket list, telling us which three things you would like to do before 'kicking the bucket' (dying.

Don't forget to send it to me so I can correct it and we can share it later in our class next Tuesday.

Have a great weekend!
